Event Terms and Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions that govern your attendance and participation at all On The Revel Inc events, including, but not limited to, Revelry, Revelry Buyers’ Club, Revelry Conference, Revelry Festival and On The Revel Industry Night (the “Event”).  

By registering for the Event, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions which form a legal agreement between On the Revel Inc (“OTR”) and the registered attendee or participant (“you”).  If you have registered on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure that the individual is aware of these terms, and you are warranting that the individual is aware of these terms and accepts them.

Event Admission

Your registration entitles you to admittance to the Event. All other costs associated with your attendance (including without limitation any travel and/or accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you and OTR shall have not liability for such costs.  

Film and Photography

By attending the Event you acknowledge and agree to grant OTR the right at the Event to record, film, photograph or capture your likeness in any media now available and hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to OTR includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use and/or disseminate the media.

Event Code of Conduct

OTR strives to curate spaces that are safe and welcoming for all participants and free of bias-based harassment.  If you see or experience any unwanted attention, contact, bullying, harassment, or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify our staff immediately.  You acknowledge that OTR reserves the right to request your removal from the Event if OTR, in its sole discretion, considers your presence and/or behavior to create a disruption or to hinder the Event and/or the enjoyment of the Event by other attendees, participants, or speakers.  If you would like to share feedback or report an experience related to harassment at our venue, please email hello@ontherevel.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Subject to Search

You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. 

Compliance with Law

You acknowledge and agree to adhere to all local and state, and federal laws and regulations applicable to attendance and participation in the Event, including, but not limited to, laws and regulations governing the possession, distribution, and sale of cannabis in the State of New York.  OTR reserves the right to request your removal from the event if OTR, in its sole discretion, considers your conduct to be in violation of any applicable laws and regulations.

Refunds

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. Event dates and details are subject to change. 

Tickets will not be refunded in case of inclement weather. If an Event is postponed or canceled for any reason your tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date. Should you be unable to attend the new date you will have the option to defer the tickets you purchased to a future event.

All ticket sales are final. You agree that you will not attempt to evade, avoid, or circumvent those prohibitions in any manner with regard to tickets you purchased. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you will not dispute or otherwise seek a “chargeback” from the company whose credit card you used to purchase tickets from www.reverlyny.com or any of its affiliate websites. Should you do so, your tickets may be canceled, and OTR may, in its sole discretion, refuse to honor pending and future ticket purchases made from all credit card accounts or online accounts on which such chargebacks have been made, and may prohibit all persons in whose name the credit card accounts exist and any person who accesses any associated online account or credit card or who otherwise breaches this provision from using www.reverlyny.com, www.ontherevel.com, cart.revelryny.com, or any of its affiliate websites.

Prohibition of Ticket Resale, Commercial Purposes

The resale (or attempted resale) of tickets is grounds for cancellation without compensation. A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, unless formal written consent is given by the OTR in its sole discretion, provided that even if such consent is obtained, any use of OTR’s trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to OTR’s written consent.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, the Event content and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event are owned by OTR and/or the Event sponsors or speakers or talent presenting at the Event. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the Event, in any Event content and/or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Event for any reason without the prior written permission of OTR.


Limitation of Liability

You assume all risks incidental to the event for which a ticket is issued, whether before, during or after performance, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against OTR, its management, officers, directors, owners, employees or agents on behalf of yourself.

OTR gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of the Event or any materials related thereto or offered at the Event and, to the fullest extent possible under the laws governing this Agreement, disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness and merchantability. Neither OTR nor its affiliates can accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you or any person on any aspect of the Event and/or any information provided at the Event.

The maximum aggregate liability of OTR for any claim in any way connected with this Agreement whether in contract, tort or otherwise (including any negligent act or omission) shall be limited to the amount paid by you to OTR to attend the Event.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New York courts.

General Notice

You acknowledge and agree that OTR, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, and time.
